Susan Kurre has spent the last 10 years of her nursing career in the occupational and community health arena. She has worked with City of Birmingham employees, focusing primarily on worksite wellness and health promotion. She received her Masters in Occupational Health Nursing Management from UAB, and soon after took on the challenge of supervising primary care clinics at Kirklin Clinic. Susan’s passion is empowering employees and patients to take control of their health and educating the public on health promotion and disease prevention. Most recently, Susan has embarked on a new endeavor as the Patient Care Coordinator for a diabetic transitional clinic, which offers a multidisciplinary approach to uninsured diabetic patients.
